Zachary Bernhardt

Zachary Bernhardt was a sweet, smart eight-year-old boy living with his mother, Leah Hackett in Clearwater, Florida. Though they didn’t have the most stable life, Leah was known to be a loving mother, and the pair was close. But on September 11, 2000, Leah couldn’t sleep so she took a 4 am walk around her apartment complex. Despite saying she was only gone for 15 minutes, when she returned, her son was missing from his bed. 20 years later, suspicions swirl around her, but Zachary’s family is no closer to answers than they were two decades ago.
